Cokoon's latest signee displays his diversity on this 6-track project
November 18, 2022 (Lagos, Nigeria) - Nigerian singer-songwriter, Novemba debuts new extended play record(EP), "Escapade". This is his third body of work in three years. His debut project, Truly Novemba dropped November 2020 and was followed up with his sophomore release in 2021.
Escapade is a collection of the Afro-Fusion act's deepest experiences expressed across different sounds and themes. Speaking about his sound, Novemba told Apple music, “Everyone talks about genres, but with me it's more or less about making good music first… It's African, so it's original and it's a fusion of a whole lot of genres.”
The project kicks off with "Escape", a sober introspective track. The artist sings about loss, pain and pressure over dreamy instrumentation. The mood picks up on "Spiritualize" as Novemba embraces a grateful outlook. On "Love Vacancy", he describes the complexities of a situationship. "Love is a drug that she don't need, but she be telling me say don't leave", he sings. The final three tracks, 'Vibe', 'Ewo' & 'Rewind' touch on love and romance.

Novemba is an afro fusion singer-songwriter from Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He started his music career in November 2020 with the release of a 3 track EP tagged Truly Novemba. He followed up with his sophomore project Novian Universe; a 6 track EP released in March 2021.
