FIRST WEEK STREAMING PROJECTIONS FOR SOUNDMAN VOL 2
Frenzy. Social media was sent into a frenzy when Wizkid announced he was releasing Soundman Vol 2 EP on the 22nd of December.
The announcement amplified the ‘Detty December’ feeling (A term in Nigerian culture that describes and celebrates the festive period). The people had missed their champion. No one knew when he would bless the mic again as he mourned his mom.
Wizkid started making public appearances, the most exciting appearance was seeing him and Davido in arms, dancing at the ‘Even with Skyla Tylaa’ rave.
By Friday, Wizkid released SoundMan Vol 2 and the four track EP was concise and straight to the point, the features (Wande Coal & Zlatan) complement the experience. The 'Detty December' vibe resonated as fans welcomed the music, aligning with the joyous and celebratory mood of the holiday season.

A year ago, Wizkid released ‘More Love, Less Ego’ album. It debuted at No. 1 with 21M on-demand streams.
‘SoundMan Vol 2’ is projected to debut at No. 1 on the album charts, with 13 - 14M on-demand streams. Wizkid currently leads on paid streaming platforms with a projected four (4) million streams on Apple Music, and four (4) million streams on Spotify.
