1. 1 – Davido remains the only artiste to have had at least one No. 1 single in every year since the launch of the official singles chart in November 2020. His sole No. 1 entry on the Official Nigeria Top 100 was “NO COMPETITION” with Asake. 

2. 2 – Only two female artistes reached the summit of the Official Nigeria Top 100 in 2023; Ayra Starr spent a week at No. 1 with “Sability” while Bloody Civilian logged three weeks at No. 1 with “BLOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR.”

3. 3 – Three albums released in 2022 reached No. 1 on the official albums chart this year; ‘Billion Dollar Baby 2.0’ by Seyi Vibez, ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe’ and ‘Boy Alone.’ 

4. 4 – Four songs spent three weeks each at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100 – Rema’s “Charm,” Omah Lay’s “Reason,” ODUMODUBLVCK’s “BLOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR” and Shallipopi’s “Cast” 

5. 5 – The number of weeks spent by female artistes at No. 1 on the Official Singles Chart in Nigeria (Ayra Starr with 1 week of “Sability” and Bloody Civilian with 4 weeks of “BLOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR”)

6. 6 – The number of albums that reached No. 1 on the Official Albums Chart and also spurned a No. 1 song on the singles chart in 2023 (‘Timeless,’ ‘Work of Art,’ ‘Boy Alone: Deluxe,’ ‘Blessed – EP,’ ‘EZIOKWU’ and ‘Presido La Pluto.’  

7. 7 – The total number of weeks of songs by ODUMODUBLVCK at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100 – which is the most by any rapper ever or in a single year. 

8. 8 – The number of songs that peaked at No. 3 on the Official Nigeria Top 100 in 2023; “Personal,” “Holiday,” “Stamina,” “FEEL,” “Many Things,” “Man of The Year,” “Beast & Peace,” and “Different Pattern.”

9. 9 – “Lonely At The Top” spent nine weeks at No. 1 on the Official Streaming Songs Chart in Nigeria

10. 10 – The number of albums released during the year that peaked at No. 1 on the Official Top 50 Albums Chart. 

11. 11 – ‘Billion Dollar Baby 2.0’ is the longest No. 1 album of 2023 with 11 weeks at the summit of the albums chart during the year. 

12. 12 – The number of songs by Asake that charted in the top ten of the Official Singles Chart in Nigeria (“Loaded,” “Joha” “

13. 13 – The number of weeks Asake’s record breaking single “Lonely At The Top” spent at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100. It became the longest charting No. 1 single in history. 

14. 14 – The number of weeks albums by Seyi Vibez spent at No. 1 on the Official Albums Chart in Nigeria; ‘Billion Dollar Baby 2.0’ (11 weeks), Vibe Till Thy Kingdom Come (1 week) and NAHAMciaga (2 weeks)

21. 21 – “soso” set a new record for the longest climb into the top ten of the official singles chart with 21 weeks.

22. 22 – The number of weeks songs by Asake spent at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100 in 2023; a new record for any artiste in a single year. 

23. 23 – The number of entries on the Official Nigeria Top 100 by Davido in 2023; 17 songs off ‘Timeless’ in addition to “Stand Strong,” “Dada (Remix),” “Electricity,” “MAGICIAN,” “Sensational” and “Drift (Remix)”
