5K Records expands its presence in Africa with the hiring of Daniel Gbemiro Owolabi as Senior A&R Manager. This move signals a commitment to cultivating African music's global potential.

Daniel Owolabi brings a wealth of experience to 5K. Before leading A&R efforts, he served as Label Manager for Sony Music West Africa. His background extends beyond the music industry, with experience in audit, assurance, and advisory services at PwC. This blend of business savvy and artistic passion makes him a strong fit for the music industry.

Daniel Owolabi's transition from corporate finance to music reflects a love for the craft. He leverages his strong foundation in business strategy to empower artists and elevate their projects. Positioning him as a valuable asset to the 5K team.

5K Records, established in 2020 by Moe Bah, Kilo Jalloh (2K Management), and JAE5, boasts a roster of talented artists, including King Promise (Ghana), Libianca (Cameroon), and Zahkar (England).
