Burna Boy’s “Higher” Leads For a Third Week
“Higher” tallied 2.76 million on-demand streams (No. 3 on streaming) and 40.2 million in radio reach (No. 2 on radio), rebounding to the summit of this week’s official singles chart in Nigeria. It has spent a total of three weeks at No. 1 on the chart.
In addition, Burna Boy has now logged a total of eight weeks at No. 1 in 2024 across two songs (“Tshwala Bam (Remix)” and “Higher”) – which is more weeks than all his entire stint at No. 1 in previous years combined; 6 weeks across four singles (2020, 2021 & 2022).
BoyPee, Hyce & Brown Joel’s “Ogechi (Remix)” with Davido slips 1-2 on this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100. It previously topped the chart for two weeks.
Rema’s “OZEBA” rises to a new peak of No. 3 on the Top 100 – it tallied 2.71 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 19.6 million on radio airplay impressions (No. 21 on radio). “OZEBA” is the third song off the project to peak in the top 3 of the singles chart in Nigeria.
Rema’s “HEHEHE” falls 3-4 on this week’s Top 100 while Seyi Vibez’s “DOHA” holds at its No. 5 peak.
Olamide’s “Metaverse” is steady at No. 6 for another week while Rema’s former No. 1 “BENIN BOYS” with Shallipopi drops 4-7.
Rounding out this week’s top ten; Ayo Maff & Fireboy DML’s “Dealer” lifts 10-8, Rema’s “YAYO” dips 8-9 while Asake & Central Cee’s “Wave” slips 9-10.
