Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

“MMS” Spends A Second Week at No. 1

Asake’s “MMS” featuring Wizkid tallied 3.72 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 60 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 6 on radio). As a result, it clocks a second week at No. 1 on the official singles chart in Nigeria.

“MMS” becomes Wizkid’s longest No. 1 single in Nigeria – surpassing the one-week reign of “GInger” with Burna Boy in 2020.

Asake’s “Active” with Travis Scott holds at its No. 2 peak for another week – it tallied 84.5 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio) and 2.45 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming).

Kaestyle’s “My Dealer (Remix)” with Kizz Daniel is steady at its No. 3 peak for another week.

Burna Boy’s “Higher” holds at No. 4 after topping the chart for four non-consecutive weeks.

Darkoo’s “Favorite Girl” with Rema flies into the top ten at No. 5 after tallying 2.21 million on-demand streams (No. 5 on streaming) and 53.1 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 12 on radio).

As a result, it becomes Darkoo’s highest charting single as a lead artiste– surpassing “Always” featuring Black Sherif which peaked at No. 8 in 2022. It is Darkoo’s third top ten entry in Nigeria having also reached the region with “Sugarcane (Remix)” [No. 4 peak].

Rema earns his sixteenth top ten entry on the official singles chart in Nigeria with “Favorite Girl”

Rema’s “OZEBA” holds at No. 6 for a second week – the song has peaked at No. 3 on the chart.

Young Jonn’s “Stronger” lifts 12-7 into the top ten for the first time ever. It tallied 1.50 million on-demand streams (No. 11 on streaming) and 59.3 million in radio reach (No. 7 on radio).

Young Jonn’s Jiggy Forever is a Record-Breaker

“Stronger” is the sixth top ten entry off Young Jonn’s debut album. As a result, it becomes the 2024 album with the most top ten entries on the official singles chart in Nigeria– surpassing Asake’s ‘Lungu Boy’ (5) and Rema’s ‘HEIS’ (4).

For debut albums, only Asake’s ‘Mr Money With The Vibe’ spurned more top ten entries on the official singles chart than ‘Jiggy Forever’ – a record 8 top ten entries.

Rounding out this week’s top ten; Seyi Vibez’s “DOHA” rebounds 13-8, Rema’s “HEHEHE” drops 8-9 while Brown Joel, BoyPee, Hyce & Davido’s “Ogechi (Remix)” moves 11-10.
