The city of Lagos is gearing up for one of the most anticipated music events of the year as Seyi Vibez Live in Lagos takes center stage on August 23rd, 2025, at the iconic Tafawa Balewa Square.

The official press conference held on August 19th drew a strong turnout from top media houses including We Talk Sound, DAW Empire, The Lagos Weekender, 49th Street, Soundcity, fueling anticipation for the landmark event.

Seyi Vibez made a striking entrance at the briefing, arriving in a convoy of exotic cars alongside label mates and executives. Addressing the press were organizers Adedayo Ayoade, Deji Awokoya, and Nelson Jack, who revealed details of the bold production design.

For the first time in Nigeria, concertgoers will experience a 44-foot high, 360-degree stage built right in the center of Tafawa Balewa Square; a never-before-seen feat in the Nigerian live music scene.

Speaking at the event, Seyi Vibez promised, “Fans should expect pure happiness, pure vibes, full energy, and happy people. I can’t wait to connect with everyone and give them the experience of a lifetime.” When asked about potential guest performances, Seyi Vibez smiled and teased, “I have some friends… but I’ll keep that as a surprise”.

Also highlighting the vision behind the production, Adedayo Ayoade emphasized what sets the conveners apart from other event organizers, “African artistes are already on the biggest stages internationally. We’re past the usual 4,000-capacity indoor venues. Our mission is to redefine live entertainment in Nigeria through bold, world-class productions that reflect the global stature of our artistes”.
