Every Bella Shmurda album release is a memory that is carved deep in music listeners’ minds. The album announcement was almost a surprise as no one expected a project from the artiste this year, until July 18th when he hinted at one through an Instagram post. Set for October 3rd, Bella Shmurda has dedicated this piece of work to everyone who contributed to it and most especially his fans. ‘SANITY’ is a 16-track project with six featured artistes. Four songs have been released from the project — “Verily” and “Dangbana Riddim” featuring his first label signee, FOLA, released earlier this year. “Holy Jah” came through in August and  “Sanity” featuring Kunmie four days before the album drops. 

“Verily” produced by Wondah is mostly a romantic message to a lover. Also sharing the same solemnity is “Sanity”. Bella Shmurda, Kunmie and FadeTheVenom (producer) sync perfectly on the track as they perform a rendition packed with words telling the tales of struggle and triumph while keeping sanity. “Holy Jah” is more of a vibrant sound with the lyrics speaking of joy, ease, and enjoyment.  It is produced by Popito.

In a recent clip documenting his songmaking process, he spoke about his music calling, the type of music he makes, and who he makes them for. The rollout also spotlights his son, showing his evolution into fatherhood.
