Asake & Wizkid’s “Jogodo” Logs Its Ninth Week at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100, Kidd Carder & Mavo’s “Big Bum Bum” Lifts to a New Peak of No. 2

Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

Asake & Wizkid’s “Jogodo” tallied 2.42 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 48.7 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio). As a result, it logs a milestone ninth week atop the official singles chart in Nigeria.

Kidd Carder & Mavo’s “Big Bum Bum” lifts to a new peak of No. 2 on the chart in its third week on the chart. It is Kidd Carder’s highest charting single on the Official Nigeria Top 100 after tallying 2.16 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 19.7 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 30 on radio). 

As a result, this means that all the song in the top five of this week’s chart have peaked at No. 2 on the singles chart and all have been blocked by “Jogodo” from reaching the summit. 

Seyi Vibez & Omah Lay’s “MY HEALER” rebounds 5-3 in its ninth week on the chart after peaking at No. 2. Mavo’s “Mofe” drops 2-4 in its second week on the chart while Wizkid & Asake’s “Turbulence” falls 3-5 in its eighth week on the Top 100. It has peaked at No. 2 so far on the official singles chart. 

Shoday & FOLA’s “Paparazzi” holds at No. 6 for another week after logging a single week atop the Official Nigeria Top 100 while 6UFF & ODUMODUBLVCK’s “10 MINUTES” climbs to a new peak of No. 7 after tallying 1.23 million on-demand streams (No. 11 on streaming) and 24.0 million in radio reach (No. 20 on radio). As a result, it becomes 6UFF’s first top ten entry on the official singles chart in Nigeria. 

Rounding out this week’s top ten; Wizkid & Asake’s “Alaye” dips 7-8, Dj Tunez & Wizkid’s “MONEY CONSTANT” with Mavo drops 8-9. It has spent a milestone 21 weeks in the top ten of the official singles chart in Nigeria – it equals Omah Lay’s “soso” and now only behind Fireboy DML & Ed Sheeran’s “Peru” (30 weeks), Asake’s “Lonely At The Top” (25 weeks) and FOLA’s “you” (22 weeks) for most weeks in the top ten history. 

Mavo & SSSoundGawd’s “Aura Salad” rebounds 12-10 in its fourth week on the top ten. As a result, Mavo has four entries in the top ten of this week’s official singles chart. 

Outside the Top Ten

  • Famous PLuto & Mavo’s “Jembe” debuts at No. 20 – it is the sixth Mavo entry in the top 20 this week (“Tumo Weto” ranks at No. 19). 
  • Boy Muller, Chech & Zlatan’s “Guide” rises to a new peak of No. 30. 
  • Blaqbonez & ARTSALGHUL’s “HUSTLE KPA $$$” debuts at No. 34. 
  • Amma’s “i love you” rises to a new peak of No. 37.
