Blaqbonez & Asake’s “CHANEL” Debuts at No. 1 on the Nigeria Top 100, Teni & Olamide’s “Zion” Returns into the Top Ten at No. 7
Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria
Blaqbonez & Asake’s “CHANEL” tallied 7.17 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 64.2 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 3 on radio). As a result, it becomes Blaqbonez’s first No. 1 entry on the official singles chart in Nigeria and Asake’s record-extending 19th No. 1 entry (and his fifth of 2026).
All of Blaqbonez’s Top Ten Entries in Nigeria

“CHANEL” is Asake’s third No. 1 entry in the last four weeks on the official singles chart, having succeeded himself at No. 1 on two previous occasions before this. “Forgiveness” replaced “Gratitude” at No. 1 two weeks ago before remaining atop the chart last week. Asake achieved this feat in 2022 when he recorded successive No. 1 entries with “Bandana” (with another former OAU alumni), “Terminator” and “Organise.” Davido achieved the same feat two years before in 2020 with “FEM,” “Holy Ground” and “The Best.”
Asake’s former No. 1 entries “Forgiveness” and “Gratitude” slip one spot each from last week at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.
BNXN & Sarz’s former No. 1 “Back Outside” dips 3-4 while Asake & Dj Snake’s “Worship” drops 4-5. It previously spent five weeks at No. 1 on the chart; this means all the tracks sitting at No. 1 – 5 on this week’s chart have reached the summit of the Official Nigeria Top 100.
Asake’s “MCBH” dips 5-6 while Teni’s “Zion” with Olamide lifts 11-7 after peaking at No. 3 on the chart.
Rounding out this week’s top ten; Kidd Carder’s “Big Bum Bum” dips 7-8 after peaking at No. 2, Omah Lay’s “I AM” moves 10-9 after reaching No. 2 on the chart while Asake’s “Wa” falls 6-10.
