The two-pack format is deliberate. "Sare"
Produced by Oniilu, “Sare” (Yoruba for “run”) is Davecash’s answer to anyone still counting him out. Over a propulsive groove, he traces his own marathon from Ajasa to now, running his race like Usain Bolt and refusing to let sapa catch up to him. It is a hustle record built for the mile-a-minute pace of Lagos itself, equal parts grit and gratitude, delivered with the swagger of a man who has already crossed the finish line and is still sprinting.
The track leans into a call-and-response energy, with its Yoruba and Pidgin hook, “Ani mo sare mo sare, mo sa kilometer,” built to travel the way a street anthem needs to, from car stereos to church car parks to the next big owambe.
