30 Under 30 Power Players Elevating, Breaking New Grounds and Shaping the Present & Future of Afrobeats  

The TurnTable 30 Under 30 Power Players is a celebration of thirty young Nigerians in music, who have distinguished themselves as individuals changing, shaping, elevating and breaking new grounds in Afrobeats.   

Nigerian music is constantly evolving and with increasing global acceptance, it means that old sectors are seeing more changes; while innovation has also led to the creation of new sectors within the industry.

These 30 individuals that make up the list have shown remarkable vision in different parts of music scene, from dance to music curation; from music data to music community; from documenting the culture to creating new moments; from creating a bridge between Nigerians in the country and those in the diaspora to shaping narrative for the biggest artistes. This list also includes those responsible for the management of new voices in Afrobeats and those managing the labels and organizations responsible for creating the music that soundtrack our lives.    

As we celebrate International Youth Day in 2022, here is the first annual 30 Under 30 Power Players elevating, breaking new grounds and shaping the present and future of Afrobeats.
