Burna Boy is set to make massive splash on the chart

The artiste will make a record-breaking launch on Top Streaming Chart with at least seven entries in next week’s top ten. This will make Burna Boy the first artiste to boast seven songs in the top 10 simultaneously. The previous record-holder is Omah Lay with four top 10 entries in a week.

Leading the race is Burna Boy’s “Level Up (Twice as Tall)” which became the second Nigerian song to record over two million streams (2.07 million streams) in a week since TurnTable Charts began tracking (Mayorkun’s “Betty Butter” featuring Davido 2.21 million stream in its first week remains the highest ever).

Burna Boy’s “Wonderful” follows with over 1.6 million streams in a week on Audiomack and “Way Too Big” with 1.50 million streams in its first week. Burna Boy is also set to break another record on Top Streaming Chart by becoming the first artiste to monopolize the Top 50’s entire top three in a week (Omah Lay had occupy the top two positions for the last two weeks on the chart).

TurnTable Charts employs a point per play value system for factoring streams from Audiomack, Boomplay and YouTube NG into the chart; full point per value is employed for Boomplay and YouTube NG streams, 4/5 point per value of total streams from Audiomack is used in the ranking of all songs by Nigerian artistes, and a tier-system point per value for songs by artistes from other African countries.

Dj Tunez’s “PAMI” is set for a top five debut as part of the few non-Burna Boy entries in the top ten this week. The song recorded 1.73 million streams in its debut week on Audiomack.

Omah Lay’s five-week No. 1 “Bad Influence” and No. 2 peaking “You” should complete the top 10 for next week’s chart.

On Boomplay weekly chart, Burna Boy occupies eight positions in the top 10, led by "Wonderful," "Level Up (Twice as Tall)" and "Way Too Big." All the songs on Twice as Tall debut in the top 20 of Boomplay NG chart; the album version of "Wonderful" is more dominant on the platform than the version released as single. YouTube and Boomplay numbers will be factored into the total weekly numbers.
