Mr. Money With the Vibe Has Been the No. 1 Album in Nigeria in 12 out of 13 Weeks since Release

Asake’s debut album has reigned supreme as the most-streamed album in Nigeria in 12 out of the 13 weeks that has followed since release.

The album only missed out of a 13 out of 13 during the debut week of Wizkid’s More Love, Less Ego – week of November 4 – 10, 2022.

It is interesting to note that the album has only topped the Top 50 Albums Chart in Nigeria for four weeks, including this week. This is because the aggregate albums chart only launched five weeks ago (Only two albums have reached the summit of the chart since launch).

MMWTV was released on September 8, 2022 – which happened to be final tracking day for the chart week of September 2 – 8 – and the album still had enough numbers to be the No. 1 album in the country (thanks to three previously singles that had reached No. 1 on the singles chart and the record-breaking opening day of the album).

This week (which represents data of tracking week of November 25 – December 1), the 12-track album tallied 8,024 units in Nigeria, equating to 12 million streams from the album tracks.
