Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio and satellite TV in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

“Yoga” launches at No. 1 on the Official Top 100 with 3.86 million streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 22.6 million in radio reach (No. 27 on radio).

With “Yoga,” Asake records his seventh No. 1 entry in Nigeria – at least two more than any other artiste. This is also producer Magicsticks’ sixth No. 1 entry (all six have been for songs with Asake. The producer was behind the No. 1 Song of 2020 in Dj Neptune’s “Nobody” with Joeboy & Mr. Eazi but this before the launch of any aggregate music chart in Nigeria).

“Yoga” made an incredible splash on streaming platforms during the week of January 27 – February 2, 2023 despite being available for only three and half days – the song was released on January 30, 2023 at 6pm WAT.

It makes history as the first song to debut at No. 1 on an aggregate chart in Nigeria despite having only a partial tracking week (Wizkid’s “Bad To Me” No. 11 debut with only two days of tracking was the previous highest by any single).

All of Asake’s No. 1 Songs

1.     “Omo Ope” with Olamide (1 week)

2.     “Sungba (Remix)” with Burna Boy (1 week)

3.     “PBUY” [2 weeks]

4.     “Terminator” [2 weeks]

5.     “Organise” (1 week)

6.     “Bandana” (7 weeks)

7.     Yoga (1 week)

Former 7-week No. 1, “Asiwaju” by Ruger slips to No. 2 while Omah Lay’s “soso” dips 2-3. Kizz Daniel’s “RTID” and Zinoleesky’s “Personal” backtracks one spot to No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.

Rexxie’s “Abracadabra” rises to a new peak of No. 6 while Mavins’ “Won Da Mo” falls 5-7 and Young Jonn’s “Xtra Cool” descends 6-8.

Rounding out this week’s top ten; Boy Spyce’s “Folake” debuts at No. 9 with 1.46 million streams 9No. 7 on streaming) and 29 million in radio reach (No. 18 on radio). It is Boy Spyce’s third top entry and first as a solo act.

Khaid’s “Jolie” rockets at 92-10 after its first full week of tracking; it tallied 1.58 million streams (No. 5 on streaming) and 22.3 million in radio reach (No. 30 on radio).

Just outside the top ten, Phyno’s “Ojemba” with Olamide starts at No. 11 while Libianca’s “People” moves to No. 14, Minz’s “Wo Wo (Remix)” ascends to a new high of No. 15 and Spyro’s “Who Is Your Guy” jumps to No. 18.
