Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio and satellite TV in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

“Lonely At The Top” tallied 3.22 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming for eight weeks) and 86.6 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio for eight weeks). It is the longest No. 1 single in 2023 and the third all-time longest No. 1 in singles chart history, behind only Omah Lay’s “Godly” and Joeboy’s “Sip (Alcohol).”

Burna Boy’s “City Boys” rises to a new peak of No. 2 on the Top 100 after tallying 2.08 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 44.4 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 10 on radio). It is the third song off ‘I Told Them’ to peak at No. 2 on the Nigeria Top 100 without reaching the summit of the chart. Interestingly, all three songs have been blocked from No. 1 by Asake’s “Lonely At The Top.”

Crayon & Ayra Starr’s “Ngozi” rises to a new peak of No. 3 on the Top 100; it drew 1.36 million on-demand streams (No. 8 on streaming) and 58.6 million in radio reach (No. 4 on radio). It becomes Crayon’s highest charting single as a lead artiste- - surpassing the No. 5 peak of “Ijo (Laba Laba)” in 2022. It is also the second top ten entry off Crayon’s debut album ‘Trench to Triumph.’

Khaid’s “Anabella” rebounds to No. 4 after peaking at No. 2 on the chart while Omah Lay’s former 3-week No. 1 moves 7-5.

Two Burna Boy songs follow at No. 6 and No. 7 respectively - “Giza” featuring Seyi Vibez and “Big 7” respectively.

Rounding out this week’s top ten; Young Jonn’s “Sharpally” moves 12-8, Adekunle Gold’s “Ogaranya” dips 8-9 after peaking at No. 5 on the Top 100 while Shallipopi’s “Obapluto” re-enters the top ten for a third time at No. 10.
