Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

“Kese (Dance)”Becomes Wizkid’s Longest No. 1 Song As a Lead Artiste

Wizkid dominates this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100 with seven entries led by “Kese (Dance)” which spends a second week at No. 1 on the chart. It tallied 4.90 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 115.22 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio).

As a result, it becomes Wizkid’s longest No. 1 song as a lead artiste; his previous leaders only spent a week atop the chart (“Ginger” with Burna Boy in 2020 and “Piece of My Heart” with Brent Faiyaz in 2024).

In addition, “Kese (Dance)” breaks its own all-time record for the biggest weekly tally on radio by any single in history – as well as becoming the first song to surpass 100 million in radio reach in multiple weeks.

Top Ten Dominance

‘Morayo” joins one of the only four albums to have at least seven entries on the official singles chart in a week – it joins; ‘Timeless’ (8), ‘A Better Time’ (7), and ‘Mr Money With The Vibe’ (7).

Also, Wizkid becomes only the third artiste to record at least seven entries in the top ten of the official singles chart in a week. He joins Davido (8), Asake (8) and Davido (7).

Personal Records

‘Morayo’ is already Wizkid’s album with the most No. 1 entries on the official singles chart in Nigeria (2) and it surpasses ‘Made in Lagos’ as the artiste’s album with the most top ten entries in Nigeria (7).

Wizkid’s “Bad Girl” with Asake debuts at No. 2 with 5.02 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 38.9 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 13 on radio). It is the highest debut off ‘Morayo’ on this week’s chart.

Davido’s “Awuke” with YG Marley falls 2-3 after topping the chart for two weeks. It tallied 1.88 million in radio reach (No. 17 on streaming) and 98 million in radio reach (No. 2 on radio). It was the most-streamed non-Morayo track in Nigeria this week (all the tracks from the album occupy No. 1 – No. 16 on this week’s official streaming songs chart).

Wizkid’s former No. 1 “Piece of My Heart” with Brent Faiyaz climbs 6-4 with 3.00 million on-demand streams (No. 7 on streaming) and 47.8 million in radio reach (No. 6 on radio).

Wizkid’s “Troubled Mind” launches at No. 5 with 3.98 million on-demand streams (No. 3 on streaming) and 9.51 million in radio reach (No. 112 on radio).

The only other non-Morayo songs in the top ten are Ruger & Tiwa Savage’s “Toma Toma” at No. 6 and BNXN & Rema’s “Fi Kan We Kan” at No. 8 – “Bend” by Wizkid is sandwiched between them at No. 7 with 3.36 million on-demand streams (No. 5 on streaming) and 20.69 million in radio reach (No. 47 on radio).

Rounding out this week’s top ten; Wizkid’s “Karamo” debuts at No. 9 with 3.40 million on-demand streams (No. 4 on streaming) and 6.40 million in radio reach (No. 162 on radio) while “Pray” rounds up Wizkid’s dominance of this week’s top ten at No. 10 after tallying 2.75 million on-demand streams (No. 10 on streaming) and 25.1 million in radio impressions (No. 37 on radio).
