Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria
Famous Pluto’s “Ewo” featuring ZerryDL & Shallipopi rises to No. 1 logs a second week at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100. It tallied 3.18 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 50.5 million in radio reach (No. 8 on radio).
Olamide’s “99” featuring Asake, Daecolm, Seyi Vibez & Young Jonn holds at No. 2 for a second straight week; it previously topped the chart for three weeks. With “99” at No. 2 on the Top 100, this means that EMPIRE is the company behind eight of top ten songs in Nigeria this week (only “Ewo” under ONErpm and “With You” under Columbia Records UK are the only non-EMPIRE songs in the top ten this week). The company is also expected to hold similar domination of the official albums chart when it’s revealed later this week – with an unprecedented 7 or 8 of the top ten albums released under EMPIRE.
Davido’s “With You” featuring Omah Lay is steady at No. 3 for another week after topping the Top 100 for six non-consecutive weeks. The song continues its historic command of the radio chart, tallying 82.8 million in radio airplay impressions for a 13th week at No. 1 on the Official Top Radio Songs chart. As a result, it equals Asake’s “Lonely At The Top” for the record of longest No. 1 single ever on the official radio chart in Nigeria.
Burna Boy’s “Love” launches at No. 4 on this week’s Top 100 with 2.96 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 18.4 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 41 on radio). It is the highest charting single off ‘No Sign of Weakness’ in its first week of release in Nigeria. With “Love” & “Dem Dey,” Burna Boy earns his 28th and 29th top ten entries in Nigeria respectively – behind only Asake (37) and Davido (33) for the most top ten entries in history.
Burna Boy’s “Dem Dey” starts at No. 5 on this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100 after drawing 38.2 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 13 on radio) and 2.07 million on-demand streams (No. 5 on streaming).
Olamide’s “Billionaires Club” featuring Wizkid & Darkoo drops 5-6 while BNXN’s “Very Soon” with Fola drops 4-7.
Rounding out this week’s top ten; BNXN’s “Laye Mi” dips 7-8, Seyi Vibez’s former No. 1 “Pressure” slips 6-9 while Burna Boy’s “TaTaTa” with Travis Scott rebounds 15-10. It previously peaked at No. 5 on the chart.
