Brown Joel steps firmly into the spotlight with his debut project ‘High Spirit’, a body of work that showcases the depth and range of one of Afrobeats’ most promising new voices. Before launching his solo career in 2023 with the breakout single “Peace”, Joel had already been shaping the sound behind the scenes, collaborating and writing with names like Mr Eazi and Crayon. His rise accelerated with “Ogechi” — one of the biggest Afrobeats records of 2025 — alongside Boypee and Hyce, a smash that earned multiple awards noms and cemented his status as one to watch. 

  ‘High Spirit’ brings together collaborations with Jeriq and Savage, weaving through sounds that highlight Joel’s versatility. With fan-favourites “KOK” and “Omo Temi”, plus a COLORS session under his belt, this project is set to establish him as a leading force of his generation.
