Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

Asake & DJ Snake’s “Worship” logs a third consecutive week at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100 after tallying 2.62 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 63 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio). As a result, Asake has led the official singles chart for the last 12 weeks across two entries – 9 weeks with “Jogodo” with Wizkid and 3 weeks with “Worship” featuring DJ Snake. As a result, it is the longest stint of consecutive weeks at No. 1 by any artiste in history – surpassing the 11 weeks of Asake (“Lonely At The Top” first 11 weeks at No. 1, the song later logged two extra weeks at No. 1) and 11 weeks of Omah Lay (with “Godly” at No. 1).

Wizkid & Asake’s “Jogodo” is steady at No. 2 for another week after topping the chart for nine consecutive weeks.

Kidd Carder & Mavo’s “Big Bum Bum” holds at No. 3 after peaking at No. 2 on the official singles chart in Nigeria.

Omah Lay’s “DON”T LOVE ME” returns to its No. 4 peak following the release of the artiste’s sophomore album, ‘Clarity of Mind.’ The song tallied 35.8 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 5 on radio) and 1.82 million on-demand streams (No. 9 on streaming). It is also the sixth entry off the album in the top ten of this week’s chart; making it one of the most dominant albums in the first week of release ever. Wizkid’s ‘Morayo’ (2024) is the only album with more top ten entries in a week in the last three years; more than Asake’s ‘Lungu Boy,’ Asake’s ‘Work of Art,’ Davido’s ‘5ive’ and Rema’s ‘HEIS.’

Omah Lay’s “I AM” launches at No. 5 with 2.30 million on-demand streams (No. 5 on streaming) and 18.4 million in radio reach (No. 37 on radio). It is the highest new entry off the album on this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100.

Omah Lay’s “ARTIFICIAL HAPPINESS” debuts at No. 6 with 2.47 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 8.33 million in radio reach (No. 83 on radio).

“CANADA BREEZE” by Omah Lay starts at No. 7 on this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100 after drawing 6.23 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 112 on radio) and 2.15 million on-demand streams (No. 7 on streaming).

Omah Lay’s “COPING MECHANISM” with Elmah debuts at No. 8 on the Top 100 with 2.33 million on-demand streams (No. 4 on streaming) and negligible radio airplay impressions in its first week of release.

Rounding out this week’s top ten of the Official Nigeria Top 100; Mavo’s “Mofe” falls 5-9 after peaking at No. 2 while Omah Lay’s former No. 1 “WAIST” rebounds 17-10 on this week’s chart. The song has spent 21 weeks on the official singles chart in Nigeria.

  • “MARY GO ROUND” at No. 21, former No. 1 “HOLY GHOST” at No. 27 and “AMEN” at No. 29 are the only tracks off ‘Clarity of Mind’ outside of the top 20 on this week’s chart.
