Staizz Omomummy Returns To The Music Scene with Debut EP, ‘Omo Mummy’

image_upload Staizz Omomummy, an artiste who embarked on his musical journey with notable success since 2016, has returned to start the year with a powerful EP titled ‘Omo Mummy’. Staizz, whose popular tracks in his Afro-fusion style are well-loved since he began his music career. 

He has collaborated with artiste Cheddah Ace on several occasions. His discography includes his 2024 release, “BBP (Bad Boys Party)”, featuring Dolly Pzul, a danceable track produced by Trendz and Dheveen. Recently, in September 2025, he, Cheddah Ace, and Brown Joel collaborated energetically on “Casamigos”.

Staizz Omomummy has embraced 2026 by announcing his debut project, titled ‘Omo Mummy’. This 6-song solo collection showcases Staizz as both musician and songwriter.

The album opens with “Nkemefula”, a gentle track with storytelling elements and beats, reflecting resilience, recognition, and connection to one’s roots. It's an introspective, prayerful song that shares Staizz’s story. Next is “Drowning”, a love song where the artiste expresses admiration for a romantic interest, adding a romantic touch. The third track, “Sofri”, stands out with an irresistible beat, fully danceable. In “Go Crazy”, Staizz sings about his ambitions and desire for fame and wealth, expressing his aspiration to succeed and earn enough money to speak for himself. “Phd” and “Jidenna” close the project with sincerity, discussing self-love, self-appreciation, and self-worth, while also addressing life’s struggles and overcoming them. Straizz Omomummy remains committed to delivering powerful songs about love, hustle, success, and perseverance.

“Nkemefula” and “Phd” are uniquely produced by Popito, while BigTunezzz showcases his brilliance on the remaining tracks.
