Davido’s “I Know Who I Be” with JAZZWRLD & GL_Ceejay Debuts at No. 1 on the Nigeria Top 100, Young Jonn’s “Elumelu” Holds at No. 2

Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

Davido’s “I Know Who I Be” with JAZZWRLD \& GL_Ceejay launches at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100 with 2.44 million on-demand streams (No. 3 on streaming) and 84.8 million in radio reach (No. 2 on radio). As a result, Davido makes history as the first artiste to earn at least one No. 1 entry in seven calendar years, a streak stretching from 2020.

Davido extends his record as the artiste with the second most No. 1 entries in Nigeria – behind only Asake (19). 

GL_Ceejay  earns his first No. 1 entry on the official singles chart, becoming only the fourth South African to earn a No. 1 single in Nigeria. He joins TitoM, Yuppe \& S.N.E – who earned their No. 1 entry in 2024 with “Tshwala Bam (Remix).” JAZZWRLD becomes the first Mosotho to earn a No. 1 entry on the official singles chart in Nigeria. 

Young Jonn’s “Elumelu” holds at its No. 2 peak – it tallied 88.04 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio) and 2.12 million on-demand streams (No. 4 on streaming). 

Asake’s “Forgiveness” slips 1-3 after three non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Top 100. Blaqbonez’s former No. 1 “CHANEL” with Asake dips 3-4. 

Asake’s “Gratitude” slides 4-5 after topping the chart for one week. 

BNXN \& Sarz’s “Back Outside” retreats 5-6 after leading the chart for a single week while Ayra Starr’s “Tornado” is steady at its No. 7 peak. It has spent three weeks at No. 1. 

Rounding out this week’s top ten; Asake’s “MCBH” falls 6-8, Tiwa Savage’s “Energy” with Wande Coal \& Mavo is down 8-9 while Victony’s “Fre$h” drops 9-10.

Outside the Top Ten

  • Wande Coal \& Wizkid’s “Oshe” debuts at No. 14.
  • BisiManuel’s “Aanu Mi” lifts to a new peak of 18 in its sixth week on the chart. It is one of the few Gospel songs to reach the top 20 of the official singles chart in Nigeria.
