Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio and satellite TV in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

“Asiwaju” tallied 2.54 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 77.7 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio). It is now the longest No. 1 single in Nigeria since Fireboy DML & Asake’s “Bandana” (also seven weeks in 2022).

Additionally, Ruger’s “Asiwaju” is the joint third longest No. 1 single ever in Nigeria – behind only the 11-week of Omah Lay’s “Godly” and 10-week No. 1 of Joeboy’s “Sip (Alcohol).”

Omah Lay’s “soso” rises to a new peak of No. 2 on the Official Top 100 – it tallied 2.55 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 62.7 million in radio reach (No. 3 on radio).

Kizz Daniel’s “RTID (Rich Till I Die)” slips to No. 3 – it debuted at No. 2 two weeks ago. Zinoleesky’s “Personal” holds at No. 4 for another week while former 1-week No. 1, Mavin All-Star’s “Won Da Mo” is steady at No. 5.

Young Jonn’s “Xtra Cool” stays at No. 6 for a third straight week; it peaked at No. 1 for three weeks in 2022.

At No. 7 is a new entry in the top ten; Rexxie’s “Abracadabra” with Naira Marley & Skiibii – rising from No. 16 to a new pea on the chart. The viral song tallied 1.32 million on-demand streams (No. 7 on streaming) and 35.7 million in radio reach (No. 9 on radio).

Rexxie joins Ckay, Young Jonn and Pheelz as the only producers to record multiple top ten entries as a lead artiste (It is important to note that the latter three producers recorded top ten entries as a performer – a distinction that Rexxie does not have, as he did not perform on both “KPK” and “Abracadabra.”)

This week’s biggest debut is Joeboy’s “Body & Soul” at No. 8; which tallied 878,000 on-demand streams (No. 13 on streaming) and 50 million in radio reach (No. 6 on radio).

“Body & Soul” is Joeboy’s fifth top ten entry in Nigeria, joining “Sip (Alcohol,) “Show Me,” “Focus,” “Nobody (Icons Remix)” and “Cubana.”

“Body & Soul” is Joeboy’s biggest debut across all platforms since “Sip (Alcohol)” in October 2021 – Sip launched at No. 3 on the defunct Top 50 in October 2021.

Rounding out this week’s top ten; Seyi Vibez’s “Chance (Na Ham)” falls 7-9 while EMPIRE & Kizz Daniel’s “Cough (ODO)” dips 9-10.

Just outside this week’s top ten; Libianca’s “People” rockets from No. 43 on last week’s chart to No. 12 while Minz’s “Wo Wo (Remix)” with BNXN fka Buju & Blaqbonez debuts at No. 18. SPINALL’s “Bunda” with Olamide & Kemuel debuts at No. 40.
