TurnTable launches a new chart, Top 100 Recurrent Songs Chart. The new chart employs a policy that stipulates that a song that is at least 35 weeks old has to be in the Top 25 of the Official Nigeria Top 100. Additionally, a song that is at least 52 weeks old has to be in the Top 50 of the Official Nigeria Top 100.

As such, songs like Burna Boy's "It's Plenty," Asake's "PBUY," Mavins' "Overloading," Crayon's "Ijo (Laba Laba)" and Kizz Daniel's "Buga" drop out of the Top 100 and into the Recurrent Songs chart.

The policy for the creation of the new chart is to ensure that the aggregate Top 100 is a representation of what is new and current in today's clime - as well as allowing songs by emerging artistes to have a better chance compared to their counterparts signed to major labels.
