Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio and satellite TV in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

Asake’s “Amapiano” with Olamide tallied 3.94 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 66.2 million in radio reach (No. 3 on radio). It logs a second week atop the official singles chart in Nigeria.

Last week, it became Asake’s record extending 10th No. 1 song in the country and Olamide’s third - the most for any rapper.

Olamide’s “New Religion” debuts at No. 2 on this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100 - the second single off the rapper’s forthcoming album features his signee, Asake. The song tallied 3.90 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 45.9 million in radio reach (No. 10 on radio).

“New Religion” is Olamide’s milestone 11th top ten entry in Nigeria while Asake records his 17th top ten entry with the new single (only Davido with 25 has more).

“New Religion” also becomes the highest charting Hip-Hop/Rap song in the country since Black Sherif’s “Kwaku The Traveller” logged its fifth and final week at No. 1 on May 9, 2022.

There have been few occasions where an artiste with a No. 1 song has blocked another single of theirs from the top spot; Omah Lay’s “Godly” prevented Olamide’s “Infinity” with Omah Lay for seven consecutive weeks between 2020 and 2021. Wizkid’s “Ginger” featuring Burna Boy blocked “Reckless” on the very first issue of a singles/aggregate chart in Nigeria. Davido’s “Holy Ground” featuring Nicki Minaj blocked “The Best” with Mayorkun from No. 1 in the debut week of ‘A Better Time.’ However, “The Best” moved to the top spot a week later.

Similar to Davido’s case, Asake’s “Terminator” blocked “Organise” during the debut week of Mr. Money With The Vibe but the former would climb to the top spot a week later. Earlier this year, Davido’s “NO COMPETITION” with Asake blocked “OVER DEM” from No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100.

With “Amapiano” and “New Religion” at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively, Asake & Olamide become the first unofficial duo to have the top two biggest songs in a week in the country.

Rema’s “Charm” dips 2-3 after spending three non-consecutive weeks atop the chart. It logs another week at No. 1 on the radio chart with 77.7 million in radio reach.

Zinoleesky’s “A1 (Feeling Disorder)” debuts at No. 4 on this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100. It tallied 3.82 million on-demand streams (No. 3 on streaming) and 11.3 million in radio reach (No. 86 on radio).

It becomes Zinoleesky’s 12th ten entry in Nigeria and the third from 2023 alone.

Seyi Vibez’s “Hat-Trick” hits a new peak of No. 5 on this week’s Top 100. It surpasses the No. 7 peak of “Chance (Na Ham)” as Seyi Vibez’s highest charting single as a lead artiste. He topped the chart for four weeks earlier this year with his guest verse on BNXN fka Buju’s “Gwagwalada.”

Davido’s “FEEL” backtracks 3-6 while BNXN fka Buju’s “PRAY” falls 4-7.

Rounding out this week’s top ten; Burna Boy’s “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” debuts at No. 8 with 48.9 million in radio reach (No. 8 on radio) and 1.4 million on-demand streams (No. 14 on streaming). It is Burna Boy’s first top ten entry of 2023 and 16th overall.

Ckay’s “Hallelujah” with Blaqbonez reaches a new peak of No. 9 on the Top 100 while Davido’s “UNAVAILABLE” with Musa Keys slips 8-10.

Just outside the top ten; Odumodublck’s “Dog Eat Dog II” with Bella Shmurda & Cruel Santino moves to a new peak of No. 17 while Kcee’s “Ojapiano” debuts at No. 26. Dave & Central Cee’s “Sprinter” launches at No. 33.
